American Chemical Society (ACS) Scholars Program

*African-American, Hispanic, or Native American
*U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.
*Full-time student at an accredited college, university, or community college
*High academic achievers in chemistry or science (3.0 GPA or better)
*Demonstrate financial need according to FAFSA form
*High School senior, college freshman, sophomore or junior
*Intending to or already majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or a chemistry-related science and planning a career in the chemical sciences or chemical technology
*The amount of each individual award depends upon the availability of funding, the number of scholarships awarded, and evidence of financial need. Scholarship recipients receive up to a maximum of $5,000 per year. Scholarship awards are renewable.
*NOTE: Students planning careers in medicine or pharmacy are not eligible for this program
