PATRICIA A. YINGST SCHOLARSHIP

1) Full-time undergraduate student enrolled in the College of Natural Sciences 2) Demonstrate financial need as established by the Office of Student Financial Services of CSU 3) Demonstrate an interest in multicultural cooperation, respect and understanding exhibited by any of the following: a) demonstrate engagement with or commitment to serving individuals or communities that face barriers to educational access, healthcare, economic opportunity, housing stability, or other essential services in the U.S. or abroad b) pursuing a second major or minor in international studies or language 4) Maintain an overall 3.2 GPA 5) Submit an essay that expresses the student’s interest in promoting multicultural respect and understanding and the student’s related experiences 6) Be a United States citizen or legal permanent resident (Scholarship may be renewable if the recipient continues to meet the requirements – however, students must reapply each year)
