COLUMBINE HEALTH SYSTEMS SCHOLARSHIP
UNDERGRADUATE CRITERIA: 1) Full or part-time sophomore, junior or senior student enrolled in the Gerontology Program 2) Maintain a cumulative minimum 3.0 GPA 3) Demonstrate involvement in University or community service 4) Provide two letters of recommendation 5) Enrolled in the gerontology interdisciplinary minor through the Gerontology Program and have taken or are currently enrolled in, or will be enrolled in introductory gerontology coursework for the upcoming fall semester 6) Include a brief essay answering the following – how will your education help prepare you for a career in aging – this could mean working with older adults directly or in a part of a discipline that directly affects the field of aging and older adults – from biomedical research to design and construction to support the healthcare continuum GRADUATE CRITERIA: 1) Full or part-time graduate student enrolled in the College of Health and Human Sciences 2) Maintain a cumulative minimum 3.0 GPA 3) Include a brief essay answering the following – if you are an incoming current graduate student interested in a career in aging, please describe how your education will help prepare you for a career in aging – this could mean working with older adults directly or in a part of a discipline that directly affects the field of aging and older adults – from biomedical research to design and construction to support the healthcare continuum
