INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCES IN CONSERVATION LEADERSHIP

1) Full or part-time (1+hrs) graduate student in the Warner College of Natural Resources 2) Major in Conservation Leadership Through Learning 3) Solidified plans to complete the 4-month CLTL capstone project abroad in a developing world country and in a project context which is immersive in local communities 4) Demonstrated characteristics that indicate an individual’s likelihood to show strong potential for growth while abroad, such as cooperativeness, open-mindedness, humility and or compassion 5) Limited prior immersive experiences in developing world settings 6) Demonstrated characteristics of empathy and concern for others’ well-being, willingness to share personal reflections and project outcomes/deliverables.
