NANCY HARTLEY SCHOLARSHIP

1) Exceptional full-time doctoral (Ph.D.) student enrolled in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies, School of Education or School of Social Work 2) Maintain a min. cumulative 3.6 GPA 3) Be actively engaged on the Fort Collins campus of Colorado State University through at least one of the following activities with preference for students involved in multiple activities a) Conducting research b) Attending face-to-face classes c) Holding a graduate assistantship OR 4) Be conducting research or clinical work centering on improving outcomes for k-12 youth, with an emphasis in one or more of the following areas a) Supporting neurodiverse youth and students with disabilities b) Addressing basic needs (e.g. food insecurity, housing instability, mental and physical health) amount marginalized students c) Building resilience and promoting long-term success for youth d) Examining the influence of educational and community systems on child and adolescent development 5) Preference shall be given to applicants participating in research in K-12 public school settings
