BLACKWELDER LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP

1) Undergraduate pursuing a degree at Colorado State University 2) Demonstrate financial need as established by the Office of Financial Aid at Colorado State University and/or demonstrate extenuating financial need 3) Preference may be considered for students who are residents of rural areas (as defined by the Colorado Department of Higher Education) of eastern Colorado including the following counties: Logan, Sedgwick, Phillips, Morgan, Washington, Yuma, Elbert, Lincoln, Kit Carson, Cheyenne, Crowley, Kiowa, Otero, Bent, Prowers, Las Animas, and Baca. – If there are no qualified applicants from the counties listed, students from rural western Colorado (excluding the counties of Larimer, Weld, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas, Jefferson, and El Paso) are eligible recipients of the scholarship.
