1) Full-time undergraduate (BS) or a BS/MS student pursuing a major in either Biochemistry or Neuroscience within the Cell and Molecular Concentration 2) Have attained junior, senior (or BS/MS graduate enrollment) class status with a minimum of two semesters of resident instruction having been on the CSU campus in Fort Collins 3) Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 for all credits earned at CSU (Research fellowships are for one academic year and are not renewable)

Supplemental Questions
  1. Please provide a 1-2 page research proposal or outline for research you plan to conduct under the mentorship of a CSU faculty member. In accepting the fellowship, the student agrees to complete the research project proposed in the application.
  2. Submit contact information for a letter of recommendation. Letter of Recommendation must be an agreement from your designated faculty mentor to actively supervise your proposed research project. Letter must be submitted by March 1, 11:00 p.m. (MST) and it is the responsibility of the student to ensure that the letter is uploaded by this deadline. Be advised to give your letter writer sufficient time to write and upload a letter.
  3. For first time applicants, a letter of recommendation is strongly encouraged and highly valuable. This letter of recommendation should be written by someone other than a friend or family member who can speak to your qualifications relevant to this scholarship. If you choose to submit a letter of recommendation, please provide contact information for your reference to submit a letter of recommendation on your behalf.
