SAMUEL N. and MARY CASTLE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP IN HUMAN DEVELOPMENT AND FAMILY STUDIES

1) Full or part-time undergraduate student enrolled in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) within the College of Health and Human Sciences pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education; or a part-time student taking undergraduate classes to improve the skills required of early childhood educations – students enrolled in HDFS on-line degree program with a focus in Early Childhood Education are also eligible for consideration 2) Candidates must have graduated from a high school in Hawaii 3) Maintain a cumulative 2.8 GPA at the college level or a 3.0 cumulative high school GPA for incoming freshmen 4) Be an incoming freshmen, a transfer student or be currently enrolled at CSU (Scholarship may be renewable if the recipient continues to meet all criteria, reapplies annually and is selected by the scholarship committee)
