DAVID E. FAHRNEY UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP IN BIOCHEMISTRY

1) Enrolled full-time in either the BS or combined BS/MS degree program with the Department of Biochemistry in the College of Natural Sciences at Colorado State University. 2) Have junior, senior or graduate class level status 3) Bronze & silver level award must have received an A grade in BC 401 (or its current equivalent) and have an overall minimum 3.5 GPA 4) Gold level Received an A grade in BC 401 (or it current equivalent) and have an overall 3.7 minimum GPA (It is possible that the recipient of the gold scholarship to have been awarded a silver scholarship in his or her junior year) 5) Students shall write a one-page essay on the importance of biochemistry to themselves and society 6) Any student awarded a scholarship who fails to maintain a 3.5 GPA as an undergraduate or a 3.25 as a graduate shall lose the scholarship at the end of the academic year
