- For you to be considered for scholarships administered by the Honors Program, a professor who has been directly involved in your education must fill out and submit an online recommendation before March 1 at 11:00 pm (MST). Since the scholarship selection process is highly competitive, choose a professor who will provide a strong recommendation for you. You should notify the professor to expect an email from AcademicWorks. It is your responsibility to ensure the professor completes your recommendation before the deadline.
- Define your style of leadership and give examples from your experiences during your time at CSU. Note: Citizenship involves political activities, from the local to national arena, while community service includes volunteer activities that aren’t confined to the political. If you helped campaign with any elections, that’s citizenship. If you are involved in CSU student politics (ASCSU), that’s citizenship. Serving in the military is part of citizenship. Voting is also active citizenship, but the selection committee will be looking for involvement beyond voting.
