MATT AND EMILY SHOUP SPAIN STUDY ABROAD SCHOLARSHIP
1) Enrolled in the Department of Foreign Languages & Literatures in the College of Liberal Arts 2) Enrolled or accepted in a CSU approved Study Abroad program for the first time 3) Demonstrate financial need as established by the Office of Student Financial Services of CSU 4) Maintain a cumulative 2.75 GPA at CSU and a 3.0 GPA in Spanish classes 5) Express intent and interest in studying in Spain – demonstrated by answering the following questions: a) Have you been accepted to study in Spain and where will you be studying? b) How will schl funds be utilized? Is your study abroad experience largely dependent on awards and schl? If you do not receive schl, how will you fund the experience? Please detail any financial need and bridge the schl will create. c) Based on your knowledge of the history, culture, language and people of Spain, how will studying abroad in Spain enrich your personally and professionally? d) Are there any other factors or things you would like to share in regard to your desire to study abroad? (The recipient(s), upon return from the study in Spain, shall submit a post-study abroad report to the donor, or his representative as well as to the Foreign Languages & Literatures department in the College of Liberal Arts)
