VALDEZ FIRST GENERATION COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP

1) Incoming freshman who has applied and been accepted in the College of Business at Colorado State University 2) Be a first generation college student 3) Have a minimum cumulative high school 3.5 GPA 4) Demonstrate financial need as established by the Office of Student Financial Services of CSU 5) Demonstrate a strong desire to complete his or her undergraduate degree in business administration 6) Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 at CSU for renewal purposes 7) Adequately document on the scholarship application how the student’s goals will lead to a career in business 8) First preference shall be given to a Colorado Resident who graduated from a Colorado high school. 9) Secondary preference shall be for an out-of-state resident (The scholarship may be renewable if the recipient continues to meets the criteria, reapplies annually and is selected by the scholarship committee)
