KEY COMMUNITIES SCHOLARSHIP
1) Full-time or part-time undergraduate students who are currently enrolled or who have participated in the Key Communities program as freshmen and/or sophomores 2) Have met all requirements as an active Key and/or Key Plus participant, as determined by the Key Community Coordinator and outlined in the Key Communities contract 3) Demonstrate financial need as established by the Office of Student Financial Services of CSU – students shall submit an explanation in the form of an essay elaborating their financial status and their need for financial assistance in order to complete coursework needed for graduations 4) Be in good academic standing by maintaining a minimum overall 3.0 GPA 5) Be in good judicial standing with Colorado State University 6) Preference shall be given to students whose financial need has jeopardized their ability to complete the coursework needed for graduation (Scholarship may be renewable if the students reapply annually, continue to meet all criteria and are selected by the scholarship committee)

- The Key Communities have high expectations for personal character and community involvement. Key students are expected to;
1) Contribute positively to the Key Community of students, staff and faculty.
2) Be a positive representative of the Key Communities.
3) Conduct myself in the residence hall, on campus, and in the community in a way that positively contributes toward developing a community based on academic excellence, civility and respect.
4) Fully abide by residence hall and Colorado State University student conduct policies.
