DEPT. OF FISH, WILDLIFE AND CONSERVATION BIOLOGY: 1) Masters or Ph.D. student enrolled in the Department of Fish, Wildlife and Conservation Biology 2) Demonstrate financial need as established by the Office of Student Financial Services of CSU 3) Have demonstrated superior academic achievement at CSU or other accredited college or university 4) Demonstrate potential for a notable career benefiting fisheries, obligate aquatic species or their habitat as evidenced by excellent character, professional experience, activities, and service 5) Show demonstrated interest for the protection/management of aquatic habitats related to physical changes of natural channels, water quality requirements for lakes/streams and the allocation of water resources as they impact aquatic biota. Students shall demonstrate an interest in identifying research that may require the active participation of the agriculture and engineering professions and/or related to state and federal agencies 6) Be a United States citizen 7) Preference given to students undertaking a field research project WARNER COLLEGE OF NATURAL RESOURCES: 1) Masters of Ph.D. student enrolled in the Warner College of Natural Resources 2) Demonstrate financial need as established by the Office of Student Financial Services of CSU 3) Have demonstrated superior academic achievement at CSU or other accredited college of university 4) Demonstrate potential for a notable career benefiting fisheries, obligate aquatic species or their habitat as evidenced by excellent character, professional experience, activities, and service 5) Express desire to undertake field work identifying environmental problems resulting from natural or man-caused actions and indicate possible solutions for mitigating and/or correcting environmental damage resulting from such actions-students shall have an interest in working on graduate level research that require an interdisciplinary need for expertise outside the natural resource area and seek such individuals to serve on their graduate research committees-students should be required to identify the scope of their field research and the location of their project with the oversight of their major professor 6) Be a United States Citizen 7) Preference given to students undertaking a field research project
