Supplemental Questions
  1. To be considered for the Richardson Honors scholarship, please write one or two paragraphs for each of the following two questions (no more than 1 page, single-spaced): (1) Describe a significant research or academic association you have developed with a CSU faculty member and (2) Describe your intended career goals, and, if applicable, your plans to further your education following graduation from CSU.
  2. For you to be considered for scholarships administered by the Honors Program, a professor who has been directly involved in your education must fill out and submit an online recommendation before March 1 at 11:00 pm (MST). Since the scholarship selection process is highly competitive, choose a professor who will provide a strong recommendation for you. You should notify the professor to expect an email from AcademicWorks. It is your responsibility to ensure the professor completes your recommendation before the deadline.
  3. A statement of how your current scholarship & activities addresses big questions/big issues and why this will be impactful beyond your discipline. What are we writing about you in 10 years in the Honors Magazine as related to the scholarship and activities you described?
  4. A statement that describes your relationship with your current faculty mentor (research, honors thesis, etc.), why this relationship matters to you, and what you hope to gain from it by the time you graduate.
