Multiple scholarships & fellowships in two general categories: those connected in some way to the U.S. military; and those for the general public.

Submit applications no sooner than one month prior to the posted deadline date

Eligibility
Students currently attending accredited colleges or universities in the U.S.; some scholarships require full-time attendance, a few are for part-time attendance; students enrolled in distance-learning programs are NOT eligible
For all undergraduate scholarships, NOTE that high school students are not eligible to apply. Only U.S. military veterans or active-duty personnel are eligible to apply as freshmen; all others must be college sophomores or juniors at the time of application
Must be U.S. citizen, have good moral character, & demonstrate academic excellence. Some scholarships require financial need
For MOST scholarships, candidates are required to be full-time & working toward a degree in one of the following: electrical, computer, chemical or aerospace engineering, mathematics, physics, computer graphic design, computer science or technology, electronics, communications technology, communications engineering, information management systems, or related technical disciplines
At least one scholarship will be available to a woman or minority candidate, provided all eligibility are met
Undergraduate applicants must be a second year college student enrolled as a sophomores or juniors in a four-year institution at the time of application. A current overall GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale is required
Graduate applicants must currently be enrolled in their second semester and at least two (2) semester-equivalent courses per term at an accredited U.S. college or university. A current overall GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale is required.
