Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation Award
Son or daughter of Active duty, reserve or veteran U.S. Marine
*Son or daughter of U.S. Marine who has served at least 90 days and has received an Honorable Discharge, Medical Discharge or was killed while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps
*Son or daughter of an Active duty or reserve U.S. Navy Corpsman who is currently attached to a Marine unit, or was attached to a Marine unit
*The son or daughter of U.S. Navy Corpsman who was attached to a Marine unit and has received an Honorable Discharge, Medical Discharge, or was killed while serving in the U.S. Navy.
*Graduating from high school in 2014, or currently attending college or a vocational/technical institution, or planning to attend college or a vocational/technical institution in the fall of 2013.
*An eligible applicants maximum family adjusted gross income for 2012 must not exceed $82,000. The income guideline increases if eligible siblings also apply for a scholarship from the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. Siblings must apply in order for the guideline to increase. For the purpose of determining eligibility, non-taxable allowances (such as Basic Allowance for Housing) received by military members on active duty are NOT included in determining adjusted gross income.
*A GPA of at least 2.0
*Scholarships are limited to undergraduate studies at accredited educational and technical institutions. An eligible applicant must be pursuing a first bachelor’s degree or technical certificate.
