*For dependent children, stepchildren or legally adopted children of Army Soldiers on active duty, retired, or deceased while on active duty or after retirement
*Registered in the Defense Eligibility Enrollment Reporting System (DEERS). You can check your status at 800/538-9552
*Must be unmarried for entire academic year
*Under the age of 23 for the entire academic year
*Must be enrolled, accepted, or pending acceptance as a full-time dependent student for the entire academic year in postsecondary educational institutions accredited by the U.S. Department of Education
*Must maintain at least a cumulative 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
*Awards primarily based on finanical need
*Academic achievements & individual accomplishments are considered
*Scholarships awarded on an annual basis for up to a maxiumum of 4 years of undergraduate study
*Students must apply each year and application must be complete, accurate and contain all required documents and signatures when received.
*Scholarship funds may be used to assist with tuition, fees, books, supplies, and room & board (on or off campus)
*Email all documentation to scholarships@aerhq.org. All documents must be scanned in a PDF (Portable Document Format) file, and MUST be legible. Any parts cut off due to scanning, or documents that are not legible will not be accepted. All emailed documents must be received by the deadline date.
