Gas Processors Association Rocky Mountain Chapter Scholarship

The Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Gas Processors Association is pleased to announce plans to award multiple scholarships between $500 and $3,000, which continues our Scholarship Program for the twelfth year in a row.
*The Chapter has established specific guidelines for selecting recipients of the Rocky Mountain GPA scholarships. These guidelines are that a student:
*has a sincere financial need
*The student has demonstrated a strong interest in the Oil and Gas Processing Industry.
*The student is maintaining a 2.8 or better Grade Point Average (4.0 scale).
*is working to aid in his or her own education
*The student has reached the third year at their respective University in the undergraduate program.
*submits an essay to the Scholarship Committee addressing these issues.
*Potential candidates must submit an essay addressing their interest in the Oil and Gas Processing Industry and complete an application. The essay (two page maximum) should be written to focus on the candidates interest in the oil and gas processing industry and how the candidate expects to use their degree in this industry.
The Scholarship Committee will review the candidates applications and essays and will make a final decision in mid October.
