1) Full-time undergraduate student 2) Interested in mathematics research – preference may be given to mathematics majors, but there should be enough flexibility that students majoring in another discipline could receive the award as long as the sponsoring professor is a mathematics professor 3) Have mathematics professor as their advisor 4) Have been approved for a research project during the fall/spring semester of the fellowship 5) Preference shall be given to students who have attained grade level status of junior or senior
