CARY GRIFFIN AND TOM SUBER GLOBAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOLARSHIP

1) Full-time undergraduate students Majoring in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics in the College of Agricultural Sciences at Colorado State University 2) Show an interest in globalized agriculture markets by answering the question: Considering U.S. agriculture will only succeed if it adapts itself to a global trade and environmental, how do you expect to learn about the political, historical and economic environments in which you would be operating in your career? 3) Maintain an overall 2.75 GPA 4) 1st Preference shall be given to students who demonstrate skills and attributes in humanities as evidenced by a second major and/or minor in the College of Liberal Arts with preference for those in History, Economics, International Studies, or Political Science 5) Second preference shall be given to students who have completed or are committed to completing a study abroad program 6) Third preference shall be given to students who have completed an International Agricultural Trade course such as AREC 415-International Agricultural Trade 7) Fourth preference shall be given to students with a dairy background (Scholarship may be renewable, in the absence of other qualified candidates, if the student reapplies, continues to meet all criteria and is selected by the scholarship committee)
