LESLIE CAVARRA BUTTORFF SCHOLARSHIP IN STATISTICS

1) Full-time undergraduate student enrolled in the College of Natural Sciences, majoring in statistics 2) Freshman or sophomore 3) Maintain an overall 3.3 GPA each semester allowing for a minimum 3.0 GPA in the first semester of university classes – incoming freshmen must have maintained an overall minimum 3.3 GPA during high school 4) Demonstrate sufficient progress toward a statistics degree by enrolling in mathematics and/or statistics courses during their freshman year – current freshmen shall be reevaluated after the first semester to make sure this criteria has been met – second semester award will only be made if the criteria has been fulfilled 5) Be a graduate of Wheat Ridge High School in Denver, Cherry Creek High School in Denver or Columbine High School in Littleton, with first preference for Wheat Ridge High School 6) Be a United States citizen 7) Preference shall be given to students who participate in extra-curricular activities such as basketball or volleyball 8) Preference shall also be given to students who demonstrate financial need as established by the Office of Student Financial Services of CSU (Scholarship is renewable if applicant reapplies and all scholarship criteria are met)
